Brick Face

I have always lived on the outskirts of metropolises, currently in London. I'm often intimidated by large buildings but my fascination for intricate, complex and multi-layered structures keeps drawing me to city centres.

Obviously, this gallery is not a statement about the urbaneness of London. I prefer to focus on solitudes we may or may not associate with the architectural context of cities. I like to call those solitudes urban breaks. Admittedly, if I wouldn't be addicted to the buzz of cities, I'd rather live in the countryside.

So I chose these images for the first gallery. I hope you enjoy them. Let me know what you think, and later I may add galleries with photographs that show my ambivalent view at the architecture of metropolis.
