Only in dreamless sleep can true reality be perceived…

“Doubt everything” is a way of thinking and imagining — not a way of life. It does not mean to believe in nothing, it means to comprehend how transient everything is, and that change is the only true constant.

I’m an agnostic in Huxley’s terms which does not mean indifferent or noncommittal. It means “not [to] pretend conclusions are certain that are not demonstrated or demonstrable.” (Huxley, Agnosticism, 1889). Even if certain, there are no definitive or eternal conclusions. Every truth dissolves at some point in time, as there are realities beyond the obvious and mundane.

I attempt to explore the spaces drawn, built and abandoned by all souls. Time is a phenomenon with many dimensions, all of which are present in universes that fit in a neuron of my brain, and universes like the one we are experiencing. Time is not linear, nor has anything a beginning or an end. I believe our souls are parts and expressions of a sublime and non-corporeal wisdom, vast and omnipresent…

Images. I have been making them as long as I can remember – through photographs, films, drawings and words. Images are passing spaces where I keep my memories, dreams and visions. Ultimately though, no story depends on a medium, as I have seen over many years in the media industry, working in television, design and art, but mostly as a writer, photographer and documentary filmmaker.

I imagine we live, maybe again and again, to prepare for Eternity where we will be genuine creators. I think this is the only true future, a place that has neither space nor time; that’s why it probably will always be the Here & Now we hope to transcend.
